ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Making the trip down the I-90, the DYouville University women's track & field team competed at the 2026 ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Saints had one individual winner on the day to go along with seven all-conference competitors.
Jenna Capolupo highlighted the strong day on the track, winning the ECC Championship in the long jump with a distance of 5.68m while also earning first team honors. Capolupo also earned second team honors in the 400m dash, clocking in with a time of 1:00.53.
Lilianna Peters was D'Youville's other first team competitor, placing second in the 3000m steeplechase. Peters set a new personal best in the event, finishing with a time of 11:46.15.
In the 100m dash,
Kendall Parker had a strong showing in her first championship meeting, placing third with a time of 12.35 to be named second team.
Elaina Williams also performed well in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing with a time of 12:22.05, a new personal best.
In the field,
Barbara Kunz led the way, competing in the javelin throw. Kunz had a distance of 31.44m to place third in the event and be named second team.
Tayden Persons also had a strong showing in the field, placing fourth in the high jump with height of 1.40m.
Overall, the Saints placed fifth out of eight teams with 52 team points.
