BUFFALO, N.Y. — D'Youville fell to FDU in straight sets, 0-3, at Saints Center Gym on Friday night. Despite the loss, D'Youville showcased a strong effort in the second and third sets, scoring 22 points in each.
D'Youville began the first set with a balanced attack, highlighted by a kill from
Jaden Webster (Rockford, Ill. / Guilford) and an assist by
Andrew Haber (Whitby, Ontario / Brooklin) to tie the score early at 1-1. They maintained a close contest, with
Ethan Robinson (Scarborough, Ontario / Neil McNeil) contributing key kills, including two consecutive points late in the set to narrow the gap to 23-21. Despite a spirited late rally, D'Youville faced challenges from the Knights' defense and service pressure, ultimately concluding the set trailing 25-21.

Ethan Robinson led the way for D'Youville, recording 13 kills and eight digs, contributing significantly to their overall performance. Haber provided a strong setting game with 26 assists and added five digs. Parker was effective on the offensive end with nine kills and contributed two service aces. Webster bolstered the defense with three block assists, adding depth to the team's blocking efforts.
