ECC Players of the Week | Feb. 16-22

COLONIA, N.J. – It was a big week in D'Youville Athletics, having seven student-athletes get recognizes for their accomplishments for the week of Feb. 16-22.
 
Summer Clark, Softball – ECC Player of the Week
Clark threw two complete games for the Saints this past weekend earning the win against both Seton Hill University and Gannon University. The Senior struck out 12 while only allowing two walks. On the offensive side, Clark was a powerhouse recording two solo homeruns in D'Youville's win against Gannon. She recorded four hits total over the weekend with two RBIs and two runs scored. Clark also currently holds a .714 slugging % with a 1.089 OPS.
 
Annie Jorgenson, Softball – ECC Honor Roll
Jorgenson finished the weekend with a .462 batting average across all four games the Saints played. She recorded six hits with four RBIs and one run scored.
 
Blaise Kolbert, Baseball – ECC Honor Roll
To start his senior campaign, Kolbert hit .462 at the plate where he collected six hits, including three extra-base hits, while driving in three runs. In the team's 5-4 win over Wilmington University on Saturday, Kolbert broke open a 1-1 tie game with a home run to right field, driving in a pair of runs. Later that same game, Kolbert went to the mound and pitched 2/3 innings and got the save.
 
Billy Morris, Baseball – ECC Honor Roll
Morris picked up where he left off a season ago, earning the season-opening win for the Saints where he struck out six and allowed one earned run in seven innings of action. With the win, Morris is now holds the record in career wins while on the bump. In the same game, Morris went yard while also drawing two walks. For the weekend at the plate, Morris collected four hit, two extra-base hits, had five runs while also driving in five runs.
 
Obrigh Tallchief, Men's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Tallchief was the hero in the team's 8-7 win over Lake Erie College, scoring a pair of goals while adding an assist. Tallchief's second goal came up big, breaking the 7-7 tie with 27 seconds left to go to help secure the win.
 
Logan Schwartz, Men's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Schwartz anchored the defense in the team's 8-7 win over Lake Erie College. Schwartz caused three caused turnovers while grabbing five groundballs.

Allie Hall, Women's Basketball – ECC Honor Roll
Hall recorded her first double-double of the season against Daemen on Sunday. The Sophomore recorded ten points and ten rebounds while also shooting 60% from the field and recording three key blocks on defense.
