COLONIA, N.J. – D'Youville University Athletics had another strong showing across fall competition, earning five major weekly awards and eight Honor Roll selections from the East Coast Conference (ECC) and Central States Football League (CSFL) for the week of September 28-October 4.
Ashley Ballou, Women's Volleyball – ECC Setter of the Week
R-So., S, Eden, N.Y., Eden/University of Connecticut/University at Buffalo
Ashley Ballou directed the Saints' offense with 98 assists across two five-set matches, averaging 9.80 assists per set. She recorded 53 assists in D'Youville's win over Molloy before adding 45 assists against St. Thomas Aquinas. Ballou also contributed 22 digs, 11 kills, nine block assists and three service aces over the weekend.
Omar Daoudi, Men's Soccer – ECC Offensive Player of the Week

Omar Daoudi had a standout week for the Saints, recording three goals in two matches. The junior scored the opening goal for D'Youville on Wednesday to tie the game before adding the go-ahead goal in the Saints' 3-1 victory. Daoudi then came up big again on Saturday, scoring the game-tying goal in the 84th minute against St. Thomas Aquinas.
Emily Stefik, Women's Soccer – ECC Rookie of the Week

Emily Stefik helped lead D'Youville to a 9-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, contributing one goal and two assists. Stefik scored the Saints' second goal of the game and assisted on two additional goals while recording three shots. Her three-point performance helped D'Youville secure its third conference win of the season.
Jimena Loustalot, Field Hockey – ECC Co-Player of the Week

Jimena Loustalot delivered a two-goal performance to lead D'Youville to a historic 2-1 victory over Mercy, the Saints' first win over the Mavericks in program history and first ECC victory of the season. Loustalot scored the game-tying goal early in the fourth quarter before converting a penalty stroke with just over a minute remaining to give D'Youville the lead and ultimately the victory. She finished with six shots, including five on goal.
Caroline Pitarra, Field Hockey – ECC Defensive Player of the Week

Caroline Pitarra played a key defensive role in D'Youville's historic 2-1 victory over Mercy, helping the Saints earn their first win over the Mavericks in program history and their first ECC victory of the season. Pitarra recorded a defensive save in the first quarter to help keep Mercy off the scoreboard, contributing to a defensive effort that allowed D'Youville to rally from a 1-0 deficit and secure the program-defining win.
Gabrielle Dials, Women's Volleyball – ECC Honor Roll

Gabrielle Dials totaled 38 digs across two matches for the Saints, averaging 19.0 digs per match. She recorded 12 digs against Molloy before turning in a 26-dig performance against St. Thomas Aquinas. Dials also contributed two service aces and 14 kills on the weekend, providing D'Youville with steady production in both the back row and at the net.
Giselle Ramirez, Women's Volleyball – ECC Honor Roll
Sr., MB, Miami, Fla., School for Advanced Studies
Giselle Ramirez delivered an efficient offensive weekend for the Saints, totaling 27 kills while adding seven block assists and three service aces across two matches. She hit .500 against Molloy and .286 against St. Thomas Aquinas while finishing with 17.5 points in each match. Ramirez recorded 27 kills on 52 attacks with just seven errors over the weekend.
Cameron Ulinski, Women's Volleyball – ECC Honor Roll
Jr., OH, Bretten, Germany, Marjory Stoneman Douglas
Cameron Ulinski put together a strong weekend for the Saints, totaling 33 kills, 18 digs, two service aces and 37.5 points across 10 sets. She opened the weekend with 18 kills on a .231 hitting percentage, 12 digs and 21.5 points in D'Youville's five-set win over Molloy, then followed with 15 kills against St. Thomas Aquinas. Ulinski averaged 3.30 kills, 1.80 digs and 3.75 points per set over the two matches while helping the Saints earn an ECC road victory over Molloy.
Danica Brill, Women's Soccer – ECC Honor Roll

Danica Brill powered D'Youville's 9-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas with two goals on four shots, including two shots on goal. Brill scored the opening goal in the eighth minute and added another in the 40th minute to help the Saints build a 3-0 halftime lead. Her two-goal performance helped D'Youville secure its third ECC win of the season.
Carsyn Corydon, Women's Soccer – ECC Honor Roll

Carsyn Corydon helped anchor a D'Youville defensive effort that produced a 9-0 shutout victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. The defender started and played 72 minutes as the Saints limited St. Thomas Aquinas to just four shots and no shots on goal. D'Youville's defensive performance helped secure its third ECC victory of the season.
Kayla Frasca, Women's Soccer – ECC Honor Roll

Kayla Frasca recorded two goals in D'Youville's 9-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas. Frasca scored the Saints' eighth goal in the 86th minute before adding another with just 14 seconds remaining, helping D'Youville close out the nine-goal shutout victory.
Hallie Villavechia, Field Hockey – ECC Honor Roll

Hallie Villavechia helped D'Youville secure a historic 2-1 victory over Mercy, making five saves on six shots on goal while playing all 60 minutes. Villavechia made key stops throughout the contest to keep the Saints within striking distance after Mercy took a 1-0 lead, allowing D'Youville to rally for its first win over Mercy in program history and its first ECC victory of the season.
Raynard Bullock Jr., Football – CSFL Honor Roll
Raynard Bullock Jr. made an impact for D'Youville against Cornell, blocking two kicks and scoring two touchdowns for the Saints.
D'Youville continues its fall schedule this week as the Saints look to build on another strong stretch of individual and team performances.
