D’Youville University Softball Releases 2026 Schedule

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The D'Youville University Softball team has released their 2026 schedule ahead of the start of competition.  
 
The Saints made a historic run in the 2025 season after finishing 23-20, 9-11 ECC, capturing their first ever East Coast Conference Championship title and making their first Division II appearance in the NCAA tournament under Head Coach, Shelly Hoerner in her first season.  
 
D'Youville opens their season at the Glenville State Tournament hosted by Glenville State University. There they will take on Seton Hill University and West Virginia State University on February 21, 2026, before playing Gannon University and Glenville State University on February 22nd. The Saints then begin March with a doubleheader at Point Park University in Pittsburgh on March 1st.  
 
Beginning on March 8th, the Saints head to Viera, Florida to compete in the Space Coast Spring Games until March 13th. While there the Saints will compete for five days facing off against Thomas More University, Concordia-St. Paul, University of Minnesota Crookston, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Minot State University, Bemidji State University, Malone University, Purdue University Northwest, Goldey-Beacom College, and Saint Michael's College.  
 
Following their Spring Break trip, the Saints will host Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for their home opener on March 18th before traveling to Malone University for a doubleheader on March 23rd.  
 
D'Youville then begins ECC conference play as they take on St. Thomas Aquinas College (Mar. 27) and Mercy University (Mar. 28). The Saints pause on conference play to face off with Walsh University (Ohio) on the road on March 31st, before heading to the College of Staten Island for a doubleheader on April 4th. The team closes out their stretch of road games with another doubleheader against Edinboro University of Pennsylvania on April 7th.  
 
DYU then begins a long homestand with four ECC opponents beginning with Queens College (April 10) and Molloy University (April 11) then followed by St. Thomas Aquinas College (April 17) and Mercy University (April 19). The Saints then host Lake Erie College for some non-conference action on April 22nd before concluding their homestand with the College of Staten Island on April 25th.  
 
The Saints close out regular season play on the road as they face Queens College in Flushing, New York on May 1st and Molloy University in Rockville Centre, New York on May 2nd.
