The scoring did not stop there, as the Saints continued to fire at will, scoring seven unanswered goals to begin the second frame to make it 14-1 with 6:55 left until the break. Ruffalo and Tallchief led the attack, each scoring a pair during the run. Both teams scored a pair of goals before the break as D'Youville took a commanding 16-3 lead into the break.

DYU scored four-straight to start the second half, coming from four different goal scorers, to make it 20-3. D&E tried to cut into the lead, scoring back-to-back goals, but DYU responded with three more goals to close out the third with a 23-5 lead.
