KINGS PARK, N.Y. – Heading downstate for the 2025 East Coast Conference Championships, the D'Youville University women's cross country team put together a strong outing. The team placed third in the team standing, tying their best finish in program history.
Lilianna Peters and
Lily Schulz lead the way for the Saints, both earning Second Team All-ECC honors for their performances this morning. Peters finished with a time of 19:47.1 to finish 9th while Schulz placed 11th with a time of 19:52.9 in the field of 72.
Elaina Williams was close to being named an all-conference runners, placing 16th with a time of 20:08.2
Andrea Marquina and
Sokhna Diagne weren't far off the pace, placing 20th and 21st, respectively.
During the post-race award ceremony,
Barbara Kunz was awarded the ECC Elite 20 Award. The Elite 20 Award goes to the student-athlete with the highest GPA competing in an ECC Championship
The Saints will now turn their focus to the NCAA DII East Regional Championships on November 8th in Hopkington, N.H.
