BUFFALO, N.Y. – With the season just around the corner, the D'Youville University men's basketball team has announced the release of the 2025-26 schedule. The Saints will play 24 games and one exhibition on the year including 16 East Coast Conference games. Of the 25 contests, the Saints will face Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Slippery Rock University, both of the PSAC, for the first time in program history.
The season begins in the Saints Center Gym as NCAA Division III Fredonia State makes the short trip up north for an exhibition game on November 5th. From there, DYU will play five-straight on the road. D'Youville will officially start the regular season at the ECC/CACC Tip-Off Challenge where they will face Goldey-Beacom (Nov. 14) and Wilmington University (Nov. 15) in Washington, D.C. From there, the Saints will travel to Lake Erie College (Nov. 19) and then down to Pennsylvania to take on the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (Nov. 22) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Nov. 23). DYU will close out the month of November at home where they will host Slippery Rock University (Nov. 30).
D'Youville will continue their three-game homestand as they get into conference action where they will host Molloy University (Dec. 5) and Queens College (Dec. 7). The Saints will go back out onto the road as they travel downstate to face St. Thomas Aquinas College (Dec. 12) and Mercy University (Dec. 14). DYU will close out the 2025 portion of their schedule at home where they will face Saint Michael's College (Dec. 21).
To begin the new calendar year, D'Youville will travel to Frostburg State University (Jan. 5) for their final nonconference game of the season. The Saints return to the Palace on Porter where they will face the College of Staten Island (Jan. 9) and the University of the District of Columbia (Jan. 11). From there, DYU will go on another three-game road trip where they will travel to Molloy University (Jan. 16), Queens College (Jan. 18) and just down the road at Daemen University (Jan. 24). The month of January concludes with a home game where DYU will host Roberts Wesleyan University (Jan. 28)
February will begin with a road trip where the Saints will travel to CSI (Feb. 6) and UDC (Feb. 8). D'Youville will then return home for three games where they will play STAC (Feb. 13), Mercy (Feb. 15) and Daemen (Feb. 22). The regular season will conclude when the team travels to Roberts Wesleyan on February 28th.
The Saints are coming off their best season yet since becoming a DII institution, having an 8-17 overall record and a 6-10 conference record under the guidance of fourth-year head coach
