The Saints went 1-1 last weekend with a win against District of Columbia and a loss to Staten Island. On Friday, DYU secured the season sweep over UDC with a thrilling 85-82 victory.
Stella Mollica (Shillington, Pa.) delivered her best performance of the season, scoring 22 points, grabbing eight rebounds, recording six assists and four steals.
Jaelyn Vleer-Elliott (Waterville, N.Y.) also turned in a stellar performance, scoring 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds, along with two blocks and a steal on defense. The Saints played another tightly contested game on Sunday against Staten Island, this time winding up on the losing end, 68-61.
Anna Jankovic (Averill Park, N.Y.) scored a team-high 15 points and recorded four steals.
Sofie Fuglsang (Oberanven, Luxembourg) added 13 points and dished out a team-high four assists.
