Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The D'Youville University Women's Volleyball team closed out their regular season with a 3-1 win over Roberts Wesleyan University on Friday night in Rochester, New York.

Set One
The Redhawks got out to a strong start jumping up 6-0 and quickly extended their led to 8-1. The Saints got three back and continued to fight until a kill from
Alex Darby (Huntington, W.V. / Spring Valley) tied the game at 15.
Emma Wlostowski (Alden, N.Y. / Alden) delivered the service ace that gave the Saints their first lead of the game at 16-15. D'Youville continued to climb holding the lead and a final kill from
Cameron Ulinski (Parkland, FL / Marjory Stoneman Douglas) gave the Saints the 25-21 win in set one.
Set Two
The Redhawks fought back and quickly took 12-6 lead in set two. The Saints fought to stay in the set, but Roberts Wesleyan extended their lead to 20-13. Kills from
Alex Darby and
Mitha Hatwar (Columbus, OH / Olentangy Liberty) helped the Saints stay in the game, but the Redhawks would take set two 25-18.
Set Three
Roberts Wesleyan stayed consistent taking the 2-1 lead again, but the Saints were quick to take the 3-2 lead following back-to-back kills from
Alex Darby. The Redhawks retook the lead, but kills from
Madeline O'Brien (East Amherst, N.Y. / Clarence) and
Mitha Hatwar helped retie the game at nine. As the score continued to climb, the Saints took the lead again at 21-20 following a kill from
Mitha Hatwar, but the Redhawks continued to fight until the game was tied at 23. A kill from
Cameron Ulinski and a Redhawks error gave the Saints the 25-23 win in set three.
Set Four
Gameplay was close to begin the fourth quarter as the lead went back-and-forth between the Redhawks and Saints. The Saints managed a four-point run to take the 11-7 lead. D'Youville then went on a 7-1 run to extend their lead to 19-11. The Redhawks still had some fight in them and worked their way back until they trailed by two at 24-22, but a final kill from
Alex Darby gave the Saints the 25-22 win in set four and the 3-1 over Roberts Wesleyan to close out the 2024 regular season.
