The Saints dropped a pair of ECC matchups on the road last weekend. On Friday, they were defeated by Mercy in a 57-55 nailbiter. After trailing by fifteen at halftime, DYU clawed their way back to take the lead with 6:47 left in the fourth quarter, but Mercy hit the go-ahead bucket with fourteen seconds left to seal the win.
Stella Mollica (Shillington, Pa.) led the Saints in scoring with 12 points and recorded three steals.
Jaelyn Vleer-Elliott (Waterville, N.Y.) turned in a solid performance with 11 points and seven rebounds. On Sunday, DYU was beaten by St. Thomas Aquinas 67-46.
Anna Jankovic (Averill Park, N.Y.) scored 13 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and recorded two steals for the Saints.
