In their previous match, the Saints were defeated by Seton Hill University by a score of 4-0. The Saints saw several scoring opportunities, as freshman Finn Savage (Wrexham, Wales) put three shots on goal and freshman Ben Calkins (East Grinstead, England) put two on goal, but were unable to find the back of the net. Freshman Jake Marks (London, England) and sophomore Josh Marer (Cohoes, N.Y.) split time in net for DYU, with Marks playing the first half and Marer the second half. Marks tallied four saves while Marer tallied nine.
