ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Resuming conference action, the D'Youville University women's soccer team fell to Roberts Wesleyan University on the road by a score of 2-0.
 
The Saints (1-4-2, 0-1-1 ECC) tried to get on the board early in the game with Izzy Deachman (Nobleton, Ontario) having a look in the fifth minute of play but was turned away. The Redhawks (6-1, 2-0 ECC) got on the board in the 37th minute to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
 
Out of the halftime, DYU had an opportunity to tie the game up as Abby Nowak (Katy, Texas) had a look in the 50th minute but the shot was saved. Roberts Wesleyan pushed their lead to 2-0 in the 54th minute. Nowak had one more look to get the Saints on the board in the 64th minute but her shot to the top of the net was saved.
 
Kailie Regan (Holley, N.Y.) went the distance in net, making three saves on five attempts.
 
The Saints will be back in action next Saturday, September 30th, as they host St. Thomas Aquinas at 12 p.m.
