Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. — The D'Youville University women's basketball team went head to head with the dolphins from the College of Staten Island. Sofie Fuglsang dropped 13 points on the Dolphins, but the Saints couldn't Solidify the win with a final score of 53-52.
FIRST QUARTER

Brianne Moxley set the tone for the Saints making a three-point jump shot 25 seconds into the game. Moxley made another three-pointer at 8:16 making the game 6-0.

Moxley and Stella Mollica each hit a pair of free throws at 3:10 and 2:33 bringing the team to lead 14-10.

Fuglsang made her second two-point shot of the quarter, ending the first with DYU ahead, 16-12.
SECOND QUARTER

Jaelyn Vleer-Elliott started off the quarter strong for the Saints with a layup only 15 seconds in. (18-12)

Fuglsang and Mollica began Racking up the three pointers at 9:03 and 8:13 bringing the score to 24-15.

The College of Staten Island (CSI) breaks through to a tie of 26 at 2:33 and takes their first lead of the game with a free throw. (27-26) Fuglsang makes a three-pointer with 30 seconds to go. DYU enters the half up 29-27.
THIRD QUARTER

Vleer-Elliott begins the quarter with a board for the Saints at 9:42. (31-27)

Halfway through the quarter at 4:58, Fuglsang hits another three pointer. (34-38)

Freshman, Madison Clark hits a three with two seconds left in the quarter, making the score 43-41, DYU leading.
FOURTH QUARTER

Both teams are score-less until Vleer-Elliott ends the drought at 6:29 with a singular free-throw. (44-41)

CSI breaks away taking the reins of the scoreboard and adds eight points by 2:46. (49-48)

Both teams are neck and neck until the very last second, but Staten Island takes the win 53-52.
