BUFFALO, N.Y. —  In their final match up of the regular season, the D'Youville University women's Basketball team took on conference opponents Daemen. The team ended the first quarter getting out scored by seven points and the second by one which brought the team into the half down 33-25. The game ended with the Saints falling 70-53. Sofie Fuglsang led the team with 14 points while Brianne Moxley and Madison Clark tied with 12 points each.

FIRST QUARTER 

• The Saints started out 7-0 with a steal and layup by Anna Jankovic at 7:24. 

• About halfway through the quarter, Daemen tied things up at 7-7 with 4:56 to go. 

• Haley Kirisits hit a pair of free throws with 13 seconds left in the quarter, but Daemen snuck in a buzzer-beating jumper, ending the quarter up 20-13.

SECOND QUARTER 

• Daemen hit a three-pointer 23 seconds in to start off their quarter strong. D'Youville wasn't able to stick back until 7:36 when Freshman Clark sunk a driving layup. (24-15)

• The leading scorer of the game for DYU, Fuglsang, put away a three-pointer at 6:31. (24-18)

• Moxley ended the second with a three-pointer at 14 seconds and Fuglsang added a free throw at one second. The Saints entered the half down 33-25.

THIRD QUARTER 

• Daemen ran the show until a layup by Kirisits at 7:15, putting D'Youville at 41-27.

• The Wildcats came in with a jumper at 6:56 but Clark came in with a driving layup 11 seconds later. (43-29)

• Clark sank a three at 34 seconds taking the Saints into the last quarter 10 points behind at 52-42.

FOURTH QUARTER 

• Clark begins the scoring for both teams with a jump-shot at 8:55. (52-44)

• Daemen hit 60 points by 4:58 but fouls at 4:37 and gives Moxley the chance to make a free throw. (60-45)

• The Wildcats took the reins of the game, making the score 68-51 with a minute left. Moxley made a couple free throws at four seconds, the final score being 70-53.
