BUFFALO – The D'Youville University women's basketball team will hit the road once again this weekend, as they face Queens College and Molloy University in two ECC matchups.

The Saints were defeated on the road by Wayne State 86-67. Wayne State opened the game on a 15-4 run, and the D'Youville was never able to close the deficit from that point on. Junior Anna Jankovic (Averill Park, N.Y.) and junior Sofie Fuglsang (Oberanven, Luxembourg) led the team in scoring with 18 points apiece. Junior Stella Mollica (Shillington, Pa.) turned in a season-high nine assists for the Saints. Junior Jaelyn Vleer-Elliott (Waterville, N.Y.) put in a solid defensive performance with a team-high six rebounds and a career-high four steals.
