WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – It was a strong week of D'Youville athletics with the East Coast Conference taking notice, getting three players recognized for their accomplishments.
 
Women's basketball player Anna Jankovic (Averill Park, N.Y.) earned ECC Player of the Week honors while Noah Hutchins (Buffalo, N.Y.) of men's basketball earned ECC Defensive Player of the Week honors. Chase Jenkins (Titusville, Fla.) was recognized once again for his efforts, finding himself on the ECC Honor Roll for the second consecutive week.
 
Anna Jankovic, Junior Guard – ECC Player of the Week
Jankovic averaged 23.5 points per game on 15-for-31 shooting from the field (48 percent) in a 1-1 week for D'Youville, dropping 23 points (7-for-15 shooting) to go with six rebounds and three steals against Columbus State before going off for a career-high 24 points (8-for-16 shooting) and another six rebounds and three steals in a 65-54 win over Saint Leo, handing the Lions just their third loss of the season.
 
Noah Hutchins, Junior Guard – ECC Defensive Player of the Week
Hutchins helped the Saints go 1-1 on the week, which included a 65-58 win over Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in which the D'Youville junior guard posted four steals to go along with four defensive rebounds and a block. On the week, Hutchins grabbed five defensive rebounds to go with 10 assists (5.0 per game), five steals, and a block with 7.5 points per game.
 
Chase Jenkins, Sophomore Guard – ECC Honor Roll
Jenkins helped the Saints go 1-1 on the week, which included a 65-58 win over Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. On the week, Jenkins averaged 18.5 points per game while going 14-for-28 (50 percent) from the field to go along with 6.0 rebounds per game.
