The Saints were defeated on the road by Canisius University in an exhibition matchup on Monday by a score of 67-59. DYU gave the Griffins all they could handle, even holding a lead early in the fourth quarter, but a 12-2 scoring run propelled Canisius to victory. Senior
Brianne Moxley (Penfield, N.Y.) led the Saints in scoring with 17 points, draining five three-pointers. Junior
Anna Jankovic (Averill Park, N.Y.) also turned in a double-digit scoring performance with 16 points. Junior
Jaelyn Vleer-Elliott (Waterville, N.Y.) was a force on the boards, grabbing ten rebounds for the Saints. Junior
Stella Mollica (Shillington, Pa.) did a fantastic job facilitating the offense, turning in a nine-assist performance.
