INDIANA, P.A. - The D'Youville University women's soccer team traveled to Indiana (Pa.) University Saturday afternoon, falling to the Crimson Hawks by a score of 1-0.
The Saints (2-5-3, 1-1-1 ECC) saw their first scoring opportunity in the 10th minute, when sophomore

(Limerick, Ireland) got a shot off that missed just left. The Crimson Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute and would not relinquish it the rest of the match. In the 41st minute, the Saints came painstakingly close to drawing even, as freshman
Ella Hurrle (Jordan Station, Ontario) missed a shot off the top woodwork.Â
Coming out of the half, sophomore
Hannah Woodhouse (Queensbury, N.Y.) put shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but it was smothered by the IUP keeper. Sophomore

(Aiea, Hawai'i) got shots on goal in the 60th and 62nd minute, respectively, but both were saved. DYU's final chance came in the 76th minute, when Hurrle put a shot on goal that was steered away.Â
Freshman
Katie Liljenquist played the full 90 minutes in net, recording three saves.
The Saints will be back in action Friday, Oct. 13th, when they once again hit the road to face Lincoln (Pa.) University at 1:00 p.m.Â
