BUFFALO, N.Y.- The D'Youville University Women's Volleyball Team (7-14, 3-5 ECC) is coming off a 2-0 winning weekend against ECC Conference opponents St. Thomas Aquinas College and Mercy University. The Saints are set to travel o Roberts Wesleyan University (6-12, 2-6 ECC) on Friday afternoon for another important ECC matchup.

Saints vs Redhawks History
 The Saints and Redhawks will be facing off on Friday night for their tenth time in program history. Overall, D'Youville is 3-6 against Roberts Wesleyan and 1-3 on the road. In their meeting earlier this year on September 30th, the Saints defeated the Redhawks 3-2 in five sets.
 
Currently, the Saints are in fifth place in the ECC standings with Roberts Wesleyan right below in sixth. Both teams have had their years of success throughout their history with the Saints taking both matchups in 2021 and the Redhawks winning both matches in 2022.
 
Saints Standouts
 Freshman, Madeline O'Brien (East Amherst, N.Y.) has been a top player for the Saints all season and is currently coming off her third ECC Rookie of the Week honors. The last matchup between the Saints and Redhawks was one of the freshman's best career performances. O'Brien recorded 25 kills and three service aces in the five-set win.
 
Her fellow freshman, Mitha Hatwar (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty) had a career high 44 assists in the previous match against Roberts Wesleyan along with three service aces of their own.
 
Junior, Eve Musielak (Eden, N.Y./ Eden) and freshman, Giselle Ramirez (Miami, Fla./ School for Advanced Studies) will also be key players to watch this Friday night. Along with O'Brien, Musielak and Ramirez have been top performers in kills, serving aces, and blocks throughout this last weekend of play.
