Box Score ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. — In the afternoon of Sunday, Jan. 29, the Saints D'Youville University went up against the Lions of Molloy University in Rockville Centre, N.Y. The Saints took the match 56-40 against the conference foe.
In a real team effort, Brianne Moxley led the Saints with 10 points but was followed close by Sofie Fuglsang and Jaelyn Vleer-Elliott who totaled 8 points each.
FIRST QUARTER

D'Youville began the game by feeling out the competition. Vleer-Elliott made a layup at 8:16 and made the game 2-2.

Molloy took a four point lead until Moxley came back with a jump shot at 7:04.

The Saints went on a long run and took a nine point lead (15-6) until Molloy responded with a three pointer and ended the quarter down 15-9.
SECOND QUARTER

Stella Mollica started the quarter strong with a three-point jump shot widening the margin back to nine (18-9).

Molloy began to catch up until Moxley made a jumper at 6:32. (20-17)

The Saints went on yet another run until the Lions made a layup at 1:35 to take the Saints into the half ahead by 10. (29-19)

Vleer-Elliott starts off this quarter with a layup at 9:16 making the score 48-26.

Clark helped the team break 50 with a three pointer at 8:01. (51-28)

With a free-throw, a layup, and even a jumper by Tamia Murphy, D'Youville solidified the win 56-40.
