FLUSHING, N.Y. — The D'Youville University women's basketball team found themselves in Flushing, N.Y. to face the Knights of Queens College on Friday evening. The teams went head to head, taking the game into overtime. Queens took the win 66-63. 

FIRST QUARTER 

• Brianne Moxley started off the game for the Saints with a three-point jump shot at 6:26, 3-2.

• D'Youville led 9-6 with 2:43 to go in the first quarter. 

• Queens ended the quarter up 12-9 with a jump shot made at 36 seconds.

SECOND QUARTER

• Haley Kirisits opened the scoring of the quarter with a layup at 9:00, 12-11.

• Moxley hit yet another three pointer at 8:03, tying things up at 14-14.

• Madison Clark raised the Saints into the lead with a pair of free throws with 12 seconds left. DYU ended the quarter winning 30-27.

THIRD QUARTER

• Anna Jankovic strikes early in the half with a layup at 9:47. (32-27)

• Queens started to catch up until Jankovic made a jumper halfway through the quarter, making the score 36-34.

• The Saints couldn't hold the lead against the Knights and ended the quarter down 46-41.

FOURTH QUARTER

• By 6:01, Queens extended their lead by 10 and made the score 51-41.

• Sofie Fuglsang helps the Saints break 50 with a layup at 1:22. (56-51)

• Stella Mollica helps tie things up at 60 with a jump shot at three seconds and takes D'Youville into overtime. 

OVERTIME

• Queens had the first say in OT with a layup at 3:23.

• Fuglsang made a three-point jump shot at 1:41, putting DYU on top 63-62.

• Queens secured the win at the buzzer with a pair of free throws. The final score after overtime is 66-63.

D'Youville will travel to Molloy to face the Lions on Sunday, Jan. 29. Tip off is set for noon.
