Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. - The D'Youville women's basketball team faced Daemen in the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 17. The Saints took the game winning 60-51.
This was the program's first win against Daemen in school history as they were 0-18 all-time entering tonight's game. Daemen is currently ranked 4th in the East Region by D2SIDA.
Stella Mollica paced the Saints with 18 Points while Anna Jankovic put up 15 points, and the two added six rebounds each.
FIRST QUARTER

Jaelyn Vleer-Elliott started off the scoring of the game at 8:35 with a layup.

After Mollica and Jankovic had their say, the Saints were up 6-1 at 5:40.

Isabella Kostyal-Larrier made a jump shot making the score 10-5 with 1:08 left but Daemen found a way to strike back and end the quarter up one point, 11-10.
SECOND QUARTER

Haley Kirisits struck early in the second with a layup at 9:21, making the score 12-11.

Jankovic hit the first three-pointer of the game at 7:19 and put DYU up 15-13.

Mollica brought the Saints into the half up by one with a jump shot at 22 seconds. (26-25)
THIRD QUARTER

Mollica started off this quarter with a jump shot at 9:04. (28-25)

The Wildcats were able to keep the upper hand all quarter until Kirisits made a layup at 4:27. Unfortunately the Saints were still down 38-36.

Brianne Moxley made a jump shot at 42 seconds and the Saints ended the quarter down 43-39.
FOURTH QUARTER

Jankovic came out early with a three-pointer at 9:51, making the score 43 Daemen, 42 D'Youville.

Daemen and D'Youville go neck and neck from 8:09 until Vleer-Elliott makes a jump shot at 3:11 putting D'Youville up 53-49.

D'Youville extended the lead by nine and ended the game winning 60-51.
