WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – D'Youville University women's soccer freshman, Eleonora Cecchini, was named East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week Sept. 12, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. Cecchini earned the RotW honor after an securing her first two goals of the season, and her collegiate career, against Bluefield St. and Queens. The Saints won both matches with Cecchini taking a team high of three shots against Bluefield St., one of which secured her first goal of her collegiate career. Cecchini took two shots against Queens to secure her second goal. She played 126 minutes in total over the two games. 

Cecchini is joined in the ECC weekly awards by teammate Reaghan Duval who was named to the ECC Honor Roll. This is Duvals' first honor roll acknowledgement this season.
