Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The D'Youville softball team stayed hot on a warm afternoon at Dobson Field, extending their win streak to five games with a doubleheader sweep of Mercy, 8-0 and 6-5. The Saints jumped on the Mavericks in game one, ending the contest via the eight-run mercy rule after five and a half innings. In game two, the Saints fell behind 4-1 before storming back to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh and freshman Laura Beck secured the walk-off win on an RBI single in the bottom of the tenth inning. The pair of East Coast Conference victories improve the Saints to 22-12 overall and 11-9 in league play.

D'Youville fell behind by three once more in the top of the fourth before freshman Emily Przybysz rounded the bases on a misplayed bunt single where the pitcher threw the ball away. Mikeala Milleville also scored on the play in the bottom of the sixth.

Needing a run in the bottom of the seventh to extend the game into extra innings, Milleville drove in Pepke on an infield single to second base to tie the game at four.
