BUFFALO, N.Y. – The D'Youville women's basketball team fell to cross-town ECC for Daemen Wednesday night. Sara Pfeiffer led the way for the Saints with 15 points, while Haleigh Schafer dropped six and Riley Riedel and Stella Mollica each had five. Haley Kirisits grabbed a team-high four rebounds.

First Quarter Notables

• The Wildcats took an early 19-7 lead in the first quarter.
• Riley Riedel led the way after the first 10 minutes of the game with three points. The Marilla, N.Y. native was also credited with one assist, one block, and one rebound.
• Stella Mollica and Sara Pfeiffer each had a field goal for D'Youville.

Second Quarter Notables

• The Saints went into the intermission trailing the Wildcats 17-47.
• Jaelyn Vleer-Elliot went 100% from the free throw line, while recording one offensive rebound.

Third Quarter Notables

• The Saints came out of the break with defense on the mind, holding Daemen to just 14 point in the third quarter.
• Pfeiffer led the way for the red and grey, dropping 11 points while going 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.
• Haleigh Schafer went 100% from field goal range, and 1-for-2 from the charity stripe.
• Haley Kirisits was credited with two assists and two steals.
• Anna Jankovic and Kirisits led the way off the glass grabbing two rebounds apiece.

Fourth Quarter Notables

• The fourth quarter saw six Saints make at least one basket, as Tamia Murphy, Mollica, and Schafer led with three apiece.
• Kirisits led off the glass for D'Youville grabbing two rebounds.
