WASHINGTON DC – The Saints saw three players score in the double digits on the way to a 64-59 win at UDC Monday afternoon. Sara Pfeiffer led the way with 24 points and three assists, while Stella Mollica and Sofie Fuglsang had 12 and 11 points, respectively. Riley Riedel was credited with four blocks.

First Quarter Notables

• UDC took an early 22-15 lead in the first quarter.
• Mollica led the Saints offensively with six points and one assist.
• Riedel added five points to the Saints total, while grabbing two defensive rebounds.
• Anna Jankovic was credited with three defensive rebounds.

Second Quarter Notables

• D'Youville trailed UDC, 27-28, going into the intermission, despite holding the Firebirds to 16 points.
• Mollica paced the Saints again in the second quarter, scoring four points while adding in an assist and a two rebounds.
• Jaelyn Vleer-Elliot, Bailey Carlson, Sofie Fuglsang, and Pfeiffer each had two points.
• Brianne Moxley and Jankovic each grabbed two rebounds off the glass defensively.

Third Quarter Notables

• The Saints came out of the intermission on a hot streak, outscoring the Firebirds 20-9.
• Funglsang and Pfeiffer scored nine points apiece. Pfeiffer also grabbed four rebounds.
• Riedel was credited with two blocks, while Haley Kirisits had one.
• Kirisits and Pfeiffer each had two steals, while Fuglsang grabbed one

Fourth Quarter Notables

• The Firebirds mounted a comeback in the final quarter of the game, but the Saints edged out the 64-59 victory when the final horn blew.
• Pfeiffer paced the Saints in the final minutes of the game, dropping 11 points and grabbing three rebounds.
• Kirisits added four points and two rebounds, while Mollica had two points.
• Jankovic led the Saints off the glass, grabbing four rebounds.
