WORDS FROM COACH
When asking Head Coach, Ali Bouman, to share her thoughts on today's game, she started with sharing that the "motto of our team is strong alone, unstoppable together." She continued by saying "there are some things that are out of our control… but I just told them that we've got to be scrappy… our heart is on defense, let our defense fuel our offense and then play collected and play together on offense. We have so many different skill sets that we can utilize and so many different strengths." She summed up today's game by commenting on the team morale. "First game jitters, of course. Slow start to say the least. Up and down, but, this week has just been about buying into one another. And I'm really proud of them, they did that today."
