Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. – The D'Youville women's basketball team fought hard, but ultimately fell to East Coast Conference member Molloy, 64-44, Sunday afternoon at the College Center Gym. Freshman Anna Jankovic lead the Saints with nine points and 11 rebound before leaving the game late in the third quarter with an injury. Stella Mollica and Haleigh Schafer each had eight points against the Lions.
First Quarter Notables
- Jankovic led the way for the Saints with six points and two rebounds.
- Riley Riedel went 2-for-4 with one rebound, one steal, and a block.
- The Saints shot 50% from the charity stripe, with Jankovic making one of her two shots.
Second Quarter Notables
- The Saints struggled in the second quarter, putting up five points to Molloy's 14.
- Jankovic led the way, hitting a three in the first minute of the quarter. The Averill Park, N.Y. native added seven rebounds to her stat line, grabbing four off the glass in the defensive paint.
- Brianna Moxley grabbed two defensive rebounds for the Saints, while Stella Mollica, Sara Pfeiffer, Haley Kirisitis, and Jaelyn Vleer-Elliot each had one.
