In an effort to ensure that D'Youville is using it's resources to best support the student-athlete experience and engage athletes globally, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the Men's Golf program. This decision was made after years of assessment, specifically analyzing recruiting classes, interest in participation, and roster retention. It was determined that most golfers were dual sport athletes, who indicated that they wanted to focus on one sport as we transition to Division II membership. Lastly, as championship opportunity is important for our student-athletes, we know that our transition to Division II and East Coast Conference membership unfortunately will not provide that opportunity. D'Youville will continue to support 15 NCAA competitive sports teams as we embark on the Division II membership process.
