Orchard Park, NY - The D'Youville golf team placed third at their host D'Youville Spartan Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Harvest Hill Golf Club.

Justin Varney (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) was the top golfer for the Spartans on Tuesday with the score of 101. Shane Critelli (Camden, NY/Camden) was right behind him with a score of 102 and Tyler Siegmann (Wheatfield, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) shot a 103.

Placing fourth for the team was Zach Cocking (Batavia, NY/Notre Dame), who shot a 105 in his first collegiate golf match. Grant Beyer (Williamsville, NY/St. Joe's) rounded out the scores for the men with a 109.

D'Youville will next compete at the Medaille Invitational next Thursday, October 3.
