Greensburg, PA- The Lady Spartans were not able to knock off Pitt-Greensburg for the second time this season as they fell 68-54 Saturday afternoon. Despite falling behind 9-0 to start the game, the Spartans twice fought back to cut the lead to two points.

Alexis Smith (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) had a game-high 16 points, going 5 for 7 from the floor and 6 for 8 from the line. Shannon Dougherty (West Seneca, West Seneca West) led the team with eight rebounds and three assists.

Their next game is Wednesday, February 12 in D'Youville's College Center Gym against Medaille. Game time for the women is 8pm.
