Greensburg, PA-A tough start to the second-half was the difference in the Spartan's 67-56 loss at Pitt-Greensburg.

After going into the locker room tied 24 apiece at halftime, the Spartans connected on just two field-goals in the first seven minutes of the second-half and finished 0-10 from beyond the three-point arc for the entire contest.

Alexis Smith (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) poured in a season-high 25 points and grabbed a team-high 9 rebounds followed by Danette Laguerre (Buffalo, NY/East) with 11 points.

Shannon Dougherty (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) scored 9 points marking the first time this season the Spartan's guard was held to single-digits.  Bridget Andrews (Amherst, NY/Sacred Heart Academy) scored 8 points, ending her streak of games in double-figures at five-straight.  

D'Youville (3-9, 2-3 AMCC) continues their Pennsylvania conference road trip with a game tomorrow (Jan. 6) at Mount Aloysius College.  Start time in Cresson, PA is at 1:00 p.m.
