Krystal Fabricante joined the D'Youville University women's wrestling program as a graduate assistant coach in the fall of 2025.
Fabricante came to Buffalo after spending three years with the La Grande High School girls wrestling program in Oregon. She served as the team's head coach from 2022-24 before transitioning to an assistant coach during the 2024-25 season.
In her first season as head coach, Fabricante guided La Grande to a district championship and a fourth-place finish at the Oregon State Championships. She followed that performance with one of the most successful seasons in program history in 2023-24, leading the Tigers to a second consecutive district title and the program's first state championship. La Grande also earned a No. 35 national ranking, produced two state finalists and one individual state champion, while Fabricante was named the OSAA 1A-4A Girls Wrestling Coach of the Year.
During the 2024-25 campaign, Fabricante remained on staff as an assistant coach, helping the Tigers capture a fourth consecutive district championship while coaching two individual state champions.
Alongside her success at the high school level, Fabricante also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Eastern Oregon University women's wrestling program from 2022-25, assisting with the development of one of the NAIA's top programs.
As a student-athlete, Fabricante competed for Eastern Oregon University from 2018-22 while earning a Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity and Health. She wrestled in four different weight classes throughout her collegiate career, competing at 123, 130, 136 and 143 pounds.
Prior to her collegiate career, Fabricante was a standout wrestler at Kodiak High School in Kodiak, Alaska. She represented Team Alaska at the 2014 Arctic Winter Games in Fairbanks and again at the 2016 Arctic Winter Games in Nuuk, Greenland. As a junior, she won a regional championship and finished as the Alaska state runner-up at 113 pounds before capturing both regional and state championships at 120 pounds during her senior season.
Fabricante is currently pursuing a master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at D'Youville University.
