Kayla Myers joins the D'Youville Athletics staff as an Assistant Cross Country Coach, bringing a strong background in collegiate athletics, exercise science, and athlete development. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Exercise Science at the University at Buffalo, Myers combines her academic expertise with hands-on coaching experience to help student-athletes reach their full potential. In addition to assisting with the cross country program, she has served as an assistant track & field coach with Tonawanda City Schools, where she develops training programs for athletes competing in sprints, hurdles, and jumps, while also working as an Exercise Science Teaching Assistant at UB.
A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at the University of Vermont, Myers was one of the top multi-event competitors in the America East Conference. She captured the conference championship in the pentathlon, earned four All-Conference selections, received All-ECAC honors, and was recognized on multiple All-Academic and Commissioner’s Honor Roll teams throughout her career. Beyond competition, Myers gained valuable experience as an athletic performance intern with Vermont's Division I women's soccer and lacrosse programs, assisting in the development and implementation of sport-specific training programs. Her passion for coaching, exercise science, and student-athlete success, combined with her experience in leadership and performance training, make her a valuable addition to the D'Youville cross country and track & field programs.
