Kate Manzella serves as the Director of Finances and Logistics for D'Youville Athletics. In her role, Manzella works closely with the University's business office to oversee the athletic department's finances and budgets while assisting the financial aid office with student-athlete financial aid packaging. She also coordinates transportation and travel logistics for D'Youville's athletic teams and oversees the department's wellness, recreation, and intramural sports programs, helping enhance the overall student experience.

Manzella joined D'Youville in 2015 as the head coach of the women's lacrosse program, where she guided the Saints through the transition from club status to NCAA Division III competition before leading the program into NCAA Division II and the East Coast Conference. During her tenure, she helped establish the program as a competitive force, leading the Saints to multiple East Coast Conference Championship appearances, the program's highest conference finish, and a program-record nine-win season. Under her leadership, numerous student-athletes earned All-Conference honors, major conference awards, and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition.

Before arriving at D'Youville, Manzella served as the head girls' lacrosse coach at Nardin Academy from 2007-15, leading the program to multiple winning seasons, a regular-season championship, and three league finals appearances. She also coached youth lacrosse and previously returned to her alma mater, Colgate University, as an assistant coach, helping guide the Raiders to their first Patriot League Tournament appearance.

As a student-athlete at Colgate, Manzella enjoyed one of the most decorated careers in program history. She was a four-time IWLCA All-Northeast Region selection, a two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, the 1997 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, and a three-time First Team All-Patriot League selection. A team captain in 2000, she was later named to the Patriot League's 1990s All-Decade Team and was inducted into the Colgate Athletic Hall of Honor in 2011. She finished her collegiate career second in program history with 159 goals and 207 points.

An accomplished marathon runner, Manzella has completed the Buffalo, Chicago, Miami, Niagara Falls, and Boston Marathons. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Colgate University.
