D'Youville University

Kyle Cunningham joined the staff in August 2021 and works primarily with the goalkeepers. During his first season he helped goalkeeper Laurie Poeller achieve USCAA Second Team All-American honors, USCAA Academic All-American honors, second most saves in the ECC with 99 and landed in the top 5 for save % in the ECC.

As a player, the 4-year goalkeeper played at Division I, St. Bonaventure University where he helped his team in 2017 reach the A10 tournament for the first time in seven years. He graduated with a bachelor's in Sport Studies and is currently working on his Master of Education at Cortland.

"I could not be happier to be at D'Youville working under new head coach Abby Pearson, said Cunningham. "I cannot wait to get started and see this program grow with the new staff."

Pearson added, "Kyle brings a high caliber mentality that will benefit the players both and on off the field. He will also play an essential role in evaluating and recruiting student-athletes in the coming years as the program moves into its Division II era. We look forward to him working with our backline and utilizing his skills and experiences with our goalkeepers."
