COLONIA, N.J. – D'Youville University athletics had nine ECC Honor Roll student-athletes for the week of Apr. 13-19.
Danielle Fenlong, Softball – ECC Honor Roll
Fenlong batted .462 this week across four games with a .538 slugging %. The Sophomore recorded six hits, four runs scored, two RBIs, and a double.
Frankie Morris, Softball – ECC Honor Roll
Morris batted .444 with a .667 slugging percentage this week. The Sophomore recorded two doubles with four RBIs and four runs scored while also recording four walks.
Gabby Moreno, Softball – ECC Honor Roll
Moreno batted .444 with a .556 slugging %. The Sophomore recorded four hits along with a double, an RBI, and a run.
Danielle Gephart, Women's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Gephart recorded nine points with four goals and five assists in D'Youville's important win over Molloy to hold the tiebreaker over them for playoff scenarios. On the week, Gephart had 10 points.
Lauren Parker, Women's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Nation's leader in draw controls broke her own single game draw control record on Wednesday against Daemen with 19 draw controls as well as a caused turnover and two groundballs. On Saturday against Molloy, Parker recorded 13 draw controls in the win as well as tallying four goals. She ended the week recording 32 draw controls to take over the leading spot in the country for draw controls.
Billy Morris, Baseball – ECC Honor Roll
On Friday, Morris started the game on the mound, tossing six innings, giving up four earned and striking out eight batters in the opener against Molloy. He added to his weekend at the plate, hitting 6-for-16 with five runs scored and four RBI's, including a double in the series finale. DYU wasn't able to end Molloy's winning streak, but Morris continues to put up strong individual numbers in his senior season.
Logan Schwartz, Men's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Schwartz was once again the leader for the Saints defense this past week, causing five turnovers while grabbing three groundballs.
Jenna Capolupo, Women's Track & Field – ECC Honor Roll
Capolupo had a strong outing at the UB Alumni Invite, placing in the top 10 in three events. In the field, Capolupo set a new personal best in the long jump with a distance of 5.73m, placing third in the field of 32. On the track, Capolupo placed fourth in the 200m (25.43) in the field of 39 and seventh in 400m (59.63) in the field of 22.
Barbara Kunz, Women's Track & Field – ECC Honor Roll
Kunz had a strong day in the javelin throw, placing second with a distance of 30.5m in the field of 18.
