COLONIA, N.J. – Four Saints have been recognized for their efforts in this week's ECC Players of the Week report from Jan. 12-18.
Sean Reynolds, Men's Basketball – ECC Rookie of the Week
Reynolds helped the Saints go 1-1 on the week. The freshman guard shot 41% from the field and 43% from beyond the three-point line, making 10 of his shots. In the team's overtime win against Queens College, Reynolds when 6-for-11 from three-point land.
Molly O'Toole, Women's Basketball – ECC Honor Roll
O'Toole led the Saints offense in both games this week, averaging 19 points per game with 38 total points over the weekend. The Freshman shot 57% overall and 58% from the three-point line while also recording her third double-double of the season on Sunday.
Lilianna Peters, Women's Track & Field – ECC Honor Roll
Peters put on a great performance at the Brockport Invite as she took first place in the women's 3000m (18:57:50). This is her best performance of the indoor season and a great mark for DYU.
Neveah Granderson-Florence, Women's Track & Field – ECC Honor Roll
Granderson-Florence put up a huge performance at the Brockport Invite, winning the 60 m dash with a time of 7.98 seconds. A huge accomplishment for the freshman and the Saints.
