Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – Closing out their weekend opening road trip, the D'Youville University women's soccer team fell to Assumption University by a score of 4-1 Sunday afternoon.
 
The Saints (0-2) got their first goal of the new year from senior Lily Gallagher (Jupiter, Fla./Dwyer). Freshman Emma Brady (Holley, N.Y./Holley) got the other lone shot on goal for DYU.
 
After a scoreless first half of action, the Greyhounds got on the board in the 56th minute of play. Assumption added two more goals to make it 3-0 after 64 minutes of play.
 
Gallagher got the Saints on the board in the 73rd minute. The Greyhounds added another goal in the 87th to make it 4-1.
 
Haley Pompeo (Eden, N.Y./Eden) went the distance in net, making eight saves.
 
The Saints will be back in action this Wednesday, September 11th, as they host Ursuline College at 4 p.m.
