NIAGARA, N.Y.– The D'Youville Women's Bowling team began their weekend at the Niagara Brunswick Spring Classic in third place finishing 2-2 with three bowlers finishing in the top ten and one making the all-tournament team.

How it Happened
The Saints finished day one of the tournament ranked third out of seven teams after finishing 2-2. D'Youville defeated Mercyhurst University and Roberts Wesleyan and fell to Niagara and Roberts Wesleyan while also completing a blind round, all of which were traditional matches.
Olivia Corbett (Dunkirk, N.Y. / Dunkirk) was the top finisher for the Saints, placing fifth overall out of 39 bowlers and earning a spot on the all-tournament team. Corbett knocked down 1,030 pins total on the day with her best game coming against Roberts Wesleyan where she scored a 218. Fellow Dunkirk native,
Mikayla Pasierb (Dunkirk, N.Y. / Dunkirk) followed close behind finishing seventh overall with her best game in the blind round scoring a 234.
Megan Kapsiak (Lancaster, N.Y. / Lancaster Central) also finished in the top ten, sliding into ninth place. Kapsiak had her best game against Niagara, bowling a 226.
Summer Sega (Hamburg, N.Y. / Hamburg) finished 23
rd overall with her best game being a 200 against Mercyhurst.
Alyssa Mankowksi (Hamburg, N.Y. / Frontier) finished 21
st bowling a best score of 191 against Mercyhurst.
