PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Three D'Youville University women's soccer players were named United States College Athletic Association Second Team All-Americans, as announced by the conference office. Eleonora Cecchini, Reagan Duval, and Chandra Philips all earned the honor for their efforts on the pitch this year.

Cecchini had an outstanding season for the Saints in her rookie campaign. The Fiorentino, Italy native was the team's the leading goal scorer – putting four in the back of the net, including two game-winners early on the season. Cecchini started in 14 games for the Saints, including six East Coast Conference games. In addition to leading the team in goals and game-winners, Cecchini paced the Saints in shots, recording 24 while putting 16 on target for a .667 shot-on-goal percentage. USCAA Second Team All-American was not the only post-season accolade for the young midfielder, as she was also named to the ECC All-Conference Second Team earlier this week.  

Duval is a graduate transfer from Campbell University. The veteran goalkeeper earned the starting spot early on, starting in the first 13 games for the Saints before sitting out due to injury. Duval grabbed an impressive 72 saves in net, while recording two shutouts. She played the full 90 minutes in nine of her 13 games played. Duval was named USCAA Women's Soccer Division I Goalie of the Week early on the season when she picked up nine saves over to games to help the Saints go 2-0 in mid-September. 

Philips started all 16 games this year, helping the Saints to two shutouts this year over Bluefield State and Queens. The Orangeville, Ontario native was a solid defender for D'Youville, playing all 90 minutes of each game. She recorded one shot as a defender.
