BUFFALO, N.Y. - In a hard fought first half for both teams, the score was 0-0 with both forming a total of three shots total, and two on goal. After the second half, the Saints found themselves underneath IUP at 0-2. 

STAT OF THE MATCH
Jeslyn-Brooke Vallesteros was all over the field for the Saints. They were the only defender on the squad to put a shot on net, striking the ball at the 26' mark. Her shot was fired to bottom right corner, but the Crimson Hawk keeper was able to get a hand on it and prevent the Saints from getting on the scoreboard.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Hannah Woodhouse, Maggie Leeds, Elenora Cecchini, and Jordan Pachla also provided shots for the Saints
• Woodhouse and Vallesteros were the only shots on net
• Goalkeeper, Reaghan Duval, was a force in net for D'Youville; keeping the Crimson Hawks off the scoreboard in the first half. She finished the game with six saves, bringing her total for the year to 61, second-highest in the conference.
• Defenders Chandra Philips, Gabrielle Brown, and Vallesteros were an integral part of the Saints defense, keeping IUP to eight shots on net.

• Head Coach Noreen Herlihy from the Crimson Hawks spoke about the first half saying that "There was a bit of back-and-forth, the wind was a big factor for both teams"
• Head Coach Abby Pearson from the Saints stated that she thought "Today was definitely a battle of who had the most energy, who had the most desire, and we were a little flat."
