SPARKILL, N.Y. - The D'Youville University Women's Soccer team battled in their final East Coast Conference match of the season against St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, Oct. 29. At the end of 90 minutes, the Saints found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard ultimately falling 1-2. However, they were able to find some amazing opportunities.

Freshman, Hanna Dino scored her first collegiate goal of the season off a penalty kick in the 39'.

• Shots on net were awarded to Tsianna Barnwell with two, and Gabrielle Brown and Eleonora Cecchini each at one 

• Other Shots were awarded to defenders Jasmina Barhoumi and Jeslyn-Brooke Vallesteros each with two, and Jillian Bernas with one

• Kailie Regan was credited with four saves in her third appearance on the pitch, playing the full 90 minutes

• The Saints and Spartans scored all of their goals in the first half

• D'Youville outshot STAC, 11-10

The Saints are back home on Saturday as they celebrate Senior day on Saturday, Nov. 5 as they host Salem (W. Va.) at Dobson Field. The team will be recognizing their Senior athletes prior to the 1 p.m. kickoff.
