Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Four goals from four different scorers lifted the D'Youville women's soccer team past Bluefield State, 4-1, on Saturday at the USCAA Championship.
D'Youville (6-9-2) will finish second in their pool at the Championship with a 1-1 record in Virginia Beach as the 2021 season comes to a close. Maine Fort Kent won the pool with a pair of wins.
The scoring started early for the Saints. Lauren Zwolenkiewicz put the first goal on the board in the 10th minute. Zwolenkiewicz's was her fourth of the season. Eleven minutes later, Emma Russell supplied her second of 2021.
After taking a 2-0 lead into halftime, the Saints got a third goal through Dani Camilleri. The midfielder's second of the season in the 48th minute. Sarah Milczarski concluded the scoring for the Saints in the 76th. The goal was also her second of the season.
Bluefield State got one back late in the going on a goal from Paige Pinson in the 70th minute.
