Box Score CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. – After both teams scored in the second half, the D'Youville women's soccer team and Queens (N.Y.) ended their Saturday contest in a 1-1 draw.
Maggie Leeds scored her team-leading sixth of the season in the 56th minute to give D'Youville the 1-0 lead. Leeds's goal came on a shot from the top of the 18.
D'Youville (4-7-2, 1-4-2 ECC) led into the final five minutes before Queens (N.Y.) (3-7-2, 2-5-1) tied the game in the 86th minute through Marina Pappas. Pappas put home a feed from Sarah Anderson to force overtime.
Queens owned the three shots in overtime. D'Youville's Laurie Poeller made two stops when tested to keep the game going. Poeller finished the game with seven stops.
